3 AN ADINANCE TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., ORDINANCE NO.
4 20,824 (DECEMBER 23, 2013) TO CORRECT AN INACCURATE LEGAL
5 DESCRIPTION; TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Board determined in Section 1 of Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 20,824
9 (December 23, 2013) that the zoning classification of the property located at Lot 3D Hillside Village in
10 the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas be changed from R-2, Single Family, to PD-R, Planned
11 Development-Residential,and
12 WHEREAS, the legal description used in Section 1 of the ordinance has since been found to be
13 incorrect and therefore needs to be amended to reflect the correct legal description, and
14 WHEREAS, a correction in the legal description needs to be made so the correct property can be
15 changed from R-2, Single Family,to PD-R Planned Development-Residential,
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF LITTLE
17 ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. That the legal description contained in Section 1 of Little Rock, Ark., 20,824 (December
19 23, 2013) be changed from Lot 3D Hillside Village in the Cityof Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas

20 to Lot 5, Block 9, Hillcrest Addition in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
21 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
25 ordinance.
26 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this
27 ordinance, particularly including but not limited to Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 20,824 (December
28 23,2013), are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
29 Section 4. Emergency. The correct reference for any zoning decision, and the ability to enforce
30 such
a decision, is essential to the public safety, and welfare, and it has come to the Ci
.f tJ' City's
31 attention that it is necessary to correct an incorrect legal description and that this correction is essential
32 to the public health, safety, and welfare; an emergency is, therefore, declared to exist and this ordinance
33 shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
