PRESENTED:05-10-2016 11:07:25AM RECORDED:05-10-2016 11:19:02 AM t ,,r L „,,,.,_.,,,,,,,t,,,,,� � , , In Official Records of Larry Crane Circuit/County Clerk 1 � I F , r ”i - ORDINANCE NO. 21 CO,AR FEE$20.00 2 ,o . 3 �'�i?;c, NTORlINANCE TO DISSOLVE SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 'q»iiruuu ,,, l;, . 4 NO. 147 OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 5 6 WHEREAS, on February 3, 1987, by Ordinance No.15,241, the City of Little Rock Board of 7 Directors (the"City Board") established and laid off Sewer Improvement District No. 147 of Little Rock, 8 Arkansas(the"District"); and, 9 WHEREAS, the District has accomplished and completed its stated purposes, owns no real or 10 personal property, has no debts other than those incurred in the dissolution process, last levied 11 assessments or taxes in the year 2011; and, 12 WHEREAS; the District's easements and transmission lines have been transferred to the Little Rock 13 Wastewater Utility; and, 14 WHEREAS, the District has returned moneys not needed for operation and dissolution to the 15 property owners in the District; and, 16 WHEREAS,the District, pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated §14-88-601, et seq, is requesting the 17 Board of Directors of the City dissolve the District; 18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The Sewer Improvement District No. 147 of Little Rock, Arkansas is hereby dissolved. 21 Section 2. That any District moneys remaining after distribution to the District's property owners 22 and payment of expenses be in connection with winding up the affairs of the District be disbursed to the 23 Little Rock Wastewater Utility. 24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 25 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and 27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part 28 of the ordinance. 29 Section 4. Repealer.
