3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
4 14,312 (APRIL 5, 2016) TO CORRECT THE NAME OF THE LEASING
5 ENTITY FOR THE LEASING OF GOLF CARTS, UTILITY VEHICLES,
6 BALL PICKER UTILITY CART AND CONCESSION/REFRESHMENT
7 UTILITY CART FOR THE REBSAMEN, HINDMAN AND WAR
8 MEMORIAL GOLF COURSES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,golf carts at the City's Rebsamen,Hindman and War Memorial Golf Courses have been
11 leased since 1998 to the present, which has consisted of six (6) consecutive contracts of one (1)-year
12 leases with the option to extend for two(2)additional years; and,
13 WHEREAS, this approach has proven to be efficient as well as economical, and customer
14 satisfaction has increased; and,
15 WHEREAS,the current lease expires on May 31, 2016; and,
16 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock issued Request for Proposals ("RFP"), Bid No. C16001, for the
17 leasing of Golf Carts, Utility Vehicles, a Ball Picker Cart and a Concession Cart for the City's golf
18 courses; and,
19 WHEREAS, through this competitive selection process, it was determined that Golf Cars of
20 Arkansas, a distributor of Club Car, who is a division of Ingersol Rand, was the lowest responsible and
21 responsive bidder on Bid No. C16001 out of three (3) bids opened on February 25, 2016, for this
22 equipment; and,
23 WHEREAS, on April 5, 2016,the City Board of Directors adopted Little Rock, Ark.,Resolution No.
24 14,312 (April 5, 2016) to authorize the City Manager to enter into a one (1)-year lease agreement, with
25 the option to extend for two (2) additional years, with Golf Cars of Arkansas, a distributor of Club Car,
26 who is a division of Ingersol Rand/DLL Group, in an annual amount not to exceed One Hundred Fifty-
27 Five Thousand, Eight Hundred Eighty Dollars ($155,880.00) for the leasing of 146 Electric Golf Cats,
28 fifteen (15) Gas Golf Carts, one (1) Four (4)-Person Electric Golf Cart, one (1) Electric Utility Cart, two
29 (2) Gas Utility Carts, three (3) Heavy-Duty Diesel Utility Carts, one (1) Ball Picker Gas Utility Car and
30 one(1)Concession/Refreshment Utility Cart;and,
31 WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 14,312 (April 5, 2016) to
32 correct the name of the leasing entity for the leasing of 146 Electric Golf Cats, fifteen (15) Gas Golf

1 Carts, one (1) Four(4)-Person Electric Golf Cart, one (1) Electric Utility Cart, two (2) Gas Utility Carts,
2 three (3) Heavy-Duty Diesel Utility Carts, one (1) Ball Picker Gas Utility Car and one (1)
3 Concession/Refreshment Utility Cart.
4 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
5 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
6 Section 1. Section 1 of Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 14,312 (April 5, 2016) is hereby amended
7 to read as follows:
8 The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a one (1)-year lease agreement, with
9 the option to extend for two (2) additional years, with Golf Cars of Arkansas, a
10 distributor of Club Car, who is a division of Ingersol Rand, and DLL Finance LLC, a
11 financing entity for Golf Cars of Arkansas, in an annual amount not to exceed One
12 Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand, Eight Hundred Eighty Dollars ($155,880.00), plus
13 applicable taxes, for the leasing of 146 Electric Golf Cats, fifteen (15) Gas Golf Carts,
14 one (1) Four (4)-Person Electric Golf Cart, one (1) Electric Utility Cart, two (2) Gas
15 Utility Carts, three (3) Heavy-Duty Diesel Utility Carts, one (1) Ball Picker Gas Utility
16 Car and one(1)Concession/Refreshment Utility Cart.
17 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
18 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
19 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
20 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
21 resolution.
22 Section 3.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, particularly Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No.
23 14,312 (April 5, 2016), or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution,
24 are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
25 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its doption.
