3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH NORTH POINT FORD, IN A TOTAL
5 PURCHASE COST OF ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO THOUSAND,
6 EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX DOLLARS ($132,876.00), FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF SIX (6) FORD F-150 TRUCKS FOR THE HOUSING &
8 NEIGHBORHOOD PROGRAMS DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE
9 HOUSTON GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL (HGAC) CONTRACT
10 PURCHASING AGREEMENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, the Housing & Neighborhood Programs Department is in need of six (6) Dodge Ram
13 1500 Trucks; and,
14 WHEREAS,this purchase will allow for the replacement of aged and high maintenance vehicles;and,
15 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made utilizing the Houston Galveston Area Council (HGAC)
16 Contract Purchasing Agreement;
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
20 North Point Ford,for the purchase of six(6)Ford F-150 Trucks for the Housing&Neighborhood Programs
21 Department at a total cost of One Hundred Thirty-Two Thousand, Eight Hundred Seventy-Six Dollars
22 ($132,876.00),by utilizing the Houston Galveston Area Council(HGAC)Contract Purchasing Agreement.
23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2016 5/8-Cent Sales Tax Account.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
