3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH LANDERS DODGE JEEP, IN A TOTAL
5 PURCHASE COST OF ONE HUDRED FIFTY-EIGHT THOUSAND,
6 SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($158,778.00),FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF THREE (3) DODGE RAM 1500 TRUCKS AND THREE (3)
8 DODGE RAM 2500 TRUCKS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT,
9 UTILIZING THE ARKANSAS STATED CONTRACT PURCHASING
10 AGREEMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department is in need of three(3)Dodge Ram 1500 Trucks and three
13 (3)Dodge Ram 2500 Trucks; and,
14 WHEREAS,this purchase will allow for the replacement of aged and high maintenance vehicles;and,
15 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made utilizing the Arkansas State Contract Purchasing Agreement;
16 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract for the
19 purchase of three(3)Dodge Ram 1500 Trucks and three(3)Dodge Ram 2500 Trucks for the Public Works
20 Department at a total cost of One Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand, Seven Hundred Seventy-Eight Dollars
21 ($158,778.00), utilizing the Arkansas State Contract Purchasing Agreement.
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in in the 2015 Public Works Special Equipment
23 Activity Account.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
