3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH GOLF CARS OF ARKANSAS,
5 A DISTIBUTOR OF CLUB CAR, WHICH IS A DIVISION OF INTERSOL
6 RAND/DLL GROUP, IN AN ANNUAL AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED
7 FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY DOLLARS
8 ($155,880.00), FOR THE LEASING OF GOLF CARTS, UTILITY
9 VEHICLES, A BALL PICKER CART AND A
10 CONCESSION/REFRESHMENT CART FOR THE REBSAMEN,
11 HINDMAN AND WAR MEMORIAL GOLF COURSES; AND FOR
12 OTHER PURPOSES.

14 WHEREAS,Golf Carts at the City's Rebsamen,Hindman and War Memorial Golf Courses have
15 been leased since 1998 to the present,which has consisted of six(6)consecutive contracts of one(1)-year
16 leases with the option to extend for two(2)additional years; and,
17 WHEREAS, this approach has proven to be efficient as well as economical, and customer
18 satisfaction has increased; and,
19 WHEREAS,the current lease expires on May 31,2016; and,
20 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock issued Request for Proposals ("RFP"), Bid No. C16001, for
21 the leasing of Golf Carts, Utility Vehicles, a Ball Picker Cart and a Concession Cart for the City's golf
22 courses; and,
23 WHEREAS, through this competitive selection process, it was determined that Golf Cars of
24 Arkansas, a distributor of Club Car, which is a division of Ingersol Rand/DLL Group, was the lowest
25 responsible and responsive bidder on Bid No. C16001 out of three (3) bids opened on February 25, 2016,
26 for this equipment.
27 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
28 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
29 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a one (1)-year lease agreement,
30 with the option to extend for two (2) additional years, with Golf Cars of Arkansas, a distributor of Club
31 Car, which is a division of Ingersol Rand/DLL Group, in an annual amount not to exceed One Hundred
32 Fifty-Five Thousand, Eight Hundred Eighty Dollars ($155,880.00), for the leasing of 146 Electric Golf
33 Carts, fifteen (15) Gas Golf Carts, one (1) Four (4)-Person Electric Golf Cart, one (1) Electric Utility

1 Cart,two (2) Gas Utility Carts, three (3)Heavy-Duty Diesel Utility Carts, one(1)Ball Picker Gas Utility
2 Cart and one(1)Concession/Refreshment Utility Cart.
3 Section 2. Funds are available from the Golf General Fund Operating Budget.
4 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,phrase, or
5 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
6 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
7 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
8 resolution.
9 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
10 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
11 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
