3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH O.R. COLAN
4 AND ASSOCIATES FOR APPRAISAL AND ACQUISITION SERVICES
5 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND
6 DOLLARS ($400,000.00); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

8 WHEREAS,O.R. Colan and Associates was selected for services under a statement of qualifications
9 procedure, Bid No. 15029,to appraise and acquire right-of-way, and
10 WHERAS, it is desirable to award a contract for services appraisal and acquisition of easements and
11 right-of-way for the 2013 through 2015 Street and Drainage Improvement Program.
12 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with O.R. Colan and
15 Associates for appraisals and easement and right-of-way acquisition for a contract ceiling price of Four
16 Hundred Thousand Dollars($400,000.00).
17 SECTION 2. The cost for the contract will be funded from the existing project allocations for the
18 2013 Capital Improvement Bonds for Streets and Drainage and the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales
19 and Compensating Use Tax for constructing street and drainage improvement projects as authorized by
20 Resolution No. 13,699 and amended by Resolution No. 14,269.
21 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
22 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
27 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
28 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
