3 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CONTRACTOR'S
4 SPECIALTY SERVICE COMPANY FOR PAVEMENT MARKINGS
5 WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, improvements to pavement markings on City streets are needed within the City of Little
9 Rock,Arkansas,and
10 AND, Contractor's Specialty Service Company submitted the low bid (Bid No. 15,175) meeting
11 specifications.
12 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Contractor's
15 Specialty Service Company in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Seven Thousand, Two Hundred
16 Eighty-Two Dollars ($207,282.00); (One Hundred Seventy-Two Thousand, Seven Hundred Thirty-Five
17 Dollars($172,735.00), plus 20% contingency).
18 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available in the Public Works 2016 Annual Operating
19 Budget.
20 SECTION 3, Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
21 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
26 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
27 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
