14274 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,274 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH DELL INCORPORATED, FOR THE 5 PURCHASE OF THIRTY-TWO (32) LAPTOP COMPUTERS FOR THE 6 NEWLY-PURCHASED PATROL VEHICLES FOR THE LITTLE ROCK 7 POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN THE TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF ONE 8 HUNDRED FIFTEEN THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED NINE AND 55/100 9 DOLLARS ($115,409.55), UTILIZING THE ARKANSAS STATE 10 CONTRACT PURCHASING AGREEMENT; AND FOR OTHER 11 PURPOSES. 12 13 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department is in need of thirty-two (32) Laptop Computers for 14 service in newly-purchased Patrol Vehicles;and, 15 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Arkansas State Contract, the Little Rock Police Department can 16 purchase thirty-two (32) Laptop Computers from Dell Incorporated to equip for service the newly- 17 purchased Patrol Vehicles, for the total cost of One Hundred Fifteen Thousand, Four Hundred Nine and 18 55/100 Dollars($115,409.55). . 19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Arkansas State 22 Contract to enter into a contract with Dell Incorporated for the purchase of thirty-two (32) Laptop 23 Computers to equip for service of the newly-purchased Patrol Vehicles at a total cost of One Hundred 24 Fifteen Thousand,Four Hundred Nine and 55/100 Dollars($115,409.55). 25 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2015 Short Term Finance Account. 26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 30 resolution. 31 Section 4. Repealer.
