RESOLUTION NO. 11,947
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) PIPE
5 CAMERA INSPECTION SYSTEM TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC
6 WORKS DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock Public Works Department has the
9 responsibility of maintaining storm drainage systems, and
10 WHEREAS, a Pipe Camera Inspection System will allow for safe inspection of
11 existing and new storm drainage systems to better determine actual condition of the
12 pipe system, and
13 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received three bids under Bid #5220 for the
14 purchase of a Pipe Camera Inspection System, and the lowest responsible and
15 responsive bid was received from Sweco, in the amount of Seventy -eight Thousand,
16 Seven Hundred Ninety -four and no /100 Dollars ($78,794.00), for the camera and trailer,
17 and One Thousand, Two Hundred and no /100 Dollars ($1,200.00), for additional camera
18 tires.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
20 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
22 into a contract for the purchase of one (1) Pipe Camera Inspection System from Sweco,
23 for the amount of Seventy -eight Thousand, Seven Hundred Ninety -four and no /100
24 Dollars ($78,794.00), for the camera and trailer, and One Thousand, Two Hundred and
25 no /100 Dollars ($1,200.00), for additional camera tires.
26 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from the 2004 Short Term
27 Financing Account.

Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
