4 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN TO
5 ACQUIRE THE ALLIS STREET (ASHER AVENUE TO 27TH STREET)
6 STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, attempts to acquire some right -of -way and temporary construction
9 easements necessary for construction of the Allis Street (Asher Avenue to 271h Street)
10 Street Improvements Project have been unsuccessful; and
11 WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use
12 of eminent domain.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete acquisition
16 of right -of -way and temporary construction easements for this project.
17 Section 2. Funding for this property is available in account 314 - 220 -SR09.
18 Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
19 adoption.
