3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH TOWNSHIP
4 BUILDERS, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE
5 HUNDRED FORTY-TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE
6 AND 60/100 DOLLARS ($342,165.60), FOR NORTH PINE STREET
7 IMPROVEMENTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

9 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for street and drainage improvements alongNorth Pine Street from

10 Lee Street to Kavanaugh Boulevard,Project No. 13-3-061,Bid No. 15-019; and,
11 WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
12 specifications.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Township
16 Builders, Inc., for North Pine Street Improvements in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Forty-Two
17 Thousand, One Hundred Sixty-Five and 60/100 Dollars ($342,165.60), which is the base bid amount of
18 Two Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand, One Hundred Thirty-Eight Dollars($285,138.00).
19 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is from the %-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and
20 Compensating Use Tax Funds as authorized by Resolution No. 13,699.
21 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
22 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
27 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
28 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
