3 A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE NAME OF A PORTION OF MARA
4 LYNN ROAD, FROM THE MARA LYNN ROAD/NORTH BOWMAN
5 ROAD INTERSECTION TO WHERE MARA LYNN ROAD BECOMES
6 NAPA VALLEY DRIVE, TO NAPA VALLEY DRIVE; AND FOR OTHER

9 WHEREAS, the owners of the Bristol Park Apartments, located at 12201 Mara Lynn Road, have
10 filed on petition to change the name of this portion of Mara Lynn Road to Napa Valley Drive; and,
11 WHEREAS, no other properties abutting this portion of Mara Lynn Road have a Mara Lynn Road
12 address,and the proposed Street Name Change will affect no other properties; and,
13 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its August 13, 2015, meeting, voted to
14 recommend approval of the proposed Street Name Change with a vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays and 2 absent.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
17 SECTION 1. The name of that portion of Mara Lynn Road, from the Mara Lynn Road/North
18 Bowman Road intersection to where Mara Lynn Road becomes Napa Valley Drive, is hereby changed to
19 Napa Valley Drive.
20 SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and the City
21 Manager is hereby directed to notify all departments of said change.
