3 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING NEW COMMISSIONERS TO THE
4 . BOARD OF IMPROVEMENT FOR TWIN LAKES RECREATION
5 IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
6 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas established the Twin Lakes
9 Recreation Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "District") by adopting
10 Ordinance No. 13,086, enacted on September 2, 1975, as amended pursuant to Ordinance No. 17,025,
11 enacted on November 21, 1995 (as amended,the"Formation Ordinance"); and
12 WHEREAS,the original members of the Board of Improvement created by the City to pursuant to the
13 Formation Ordinance have all either resigned or otherwise indicated their unwillingness to further serve in
14 such capacity; and
15 WHEREAS,the District has requested the City to appoint a new Board of Improvement for the District.
16 NOW,THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock as follows:
17 Section 1. That Vivialon Nelson, Shirley Thomas and Dee Arthur Jordan, duly qualified electors of
18 the City and property owners within the District, are hereby appointed Commissioners of the District and
19 shall constitute the Board of Improvement of the District.
20 Section 2. That such commissioners shall qualify by taking the oath of office prescribed by Arkansas
21 law,and shall enter upon and conduct their duties all as prescribed by applicable law.
22 Section 3. This Resolution shall be in force from and after the date of its approval.
