3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN ON
4 THE FRANKLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SIDEWALK PROJECT
5 (SOUTH HARRISON STREET); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, attempts to acquire temporary construction easements necessary for
8 construction of the Franklin Elementary School Sidewalk Project on South Harrison
9 Street (14th Street to 201h Street) has been unsuccessful; and
10 WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use
11 of eminent domain.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete acquisition
15 of right -of -way for this project.
16 Section 2. Funding for this property is available in account 318 - 220 -SW05.
17 Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
18 adoption.
