4 (ORDINANCE NO. 20,117); ADDING TWO (2) BIKE PATHS, SIX (6)
5 BIKE LANES AND SEVERAL BIKE ROUTES TO THE MASTER
6 STREET BIKE PLAN MAP (MSP14-04)AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Bicycle Friendly Community Committee recommended addition of several Bike
9 Paths,Lanes and Routes to the Plan Map; and,
10 WHEREAS,the Planning Commission after review at a public hearing recommends the additions.
11 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
12 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. Amend the Master Street Plan text, under "Section 5: Bicycle Plan Map" is amended to
14 add for future development are proposed Class I Bike Paths:
15 • Corridor along rail line from Interstate Park to the Arkansas River via Rose Creek
16 • Coleman Creek corridor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to Lee Avenue
17 Section 2. Amend the Master Street Plan text, under"Section 5: Bicycle Plan Map" is amended to
18 add for future development are proposed Class II Bike Lanes:
19 • 9th Street from Interstate 30 to Main Street
20 • 7th Street from Rock Street to Woodrow Street
21 • Chester Street from Interstate 630 to Roosevelt Road
22 • Main Street from 7th Street to Roosevelt Road
23 • LaMarche Drive, south of Taylor Loop Road
24 • Taylor Loop Road from LaMarche Drive to Rahling Road
25 Section 3. Amend the Master Street Plan text, under"Section 5: Bicycle Plan Map" is amended to

27 • Commerce Street from 0 17th Street to 9th Street
28 • Sherman Street from 9th Street to 6th Street
29 • 7th Street from Cumberland Street to Sherman Street
30 • State Street from Interstate 630 to the Arkansas River Trail.
31 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
32 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
33 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
[Page 1 of 2]
1 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
2 ordinance.
3 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent
4 with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
