3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN ON
4 THE FOURCHE DAM PIKE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
5 (RICHLAND DRIVE TO PLANTATION DRIVE); AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, attempts to acquire some right -of -way and temporary construction
9 easements necessary for construction of the Fourche Dam Pike Project (Richland Drive
10 to Plantation Drive) have been unsuccessful; and
11 WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use
12 of eminent domain.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete acquisition
16 of right -of -way for this project.
17 Section 2. Funding for this property is available in account 301 - 220 -Z003.
18 Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
19 adoption.
