6 A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE DONATION OF
7 PROPERTY FOR USE BY THE PARKS AND RECREATION
8 DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY
9 CLERK TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
10 (NATURE CONSERVANCY DONATION OF 30 ACRES OF
11 WETLAND NEAR THE FOURCHE BOTTOMS AREA.)

13 WHEREAS, the Nature Conservancy proposed to donate 30 acres of wetland near the
14 Fourche Bottoms area; and
15 WHEREAS, an environmental site assessment was performed with some upstream pollution
16 noted with no indicators for acuteness of environmental hazards.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute the necessary documents
20 to accept the donation of approximately 30 acres of wetland near the Fourche Bottoms area from
21 the Nature Conservancy.
22 SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
