3 A RESOLUTION TO SET AUGUST 4,2015,AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE PETITION TO FORM THE CENTER STREET MULTI-
5 PURPOSE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, on July 13, 2015, a Petition was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock,
9 Arkansas, for the Little Rock Board of Directors to approve the formation of the Center Street Multi-
10 Purpose Improvement District of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. §§ 14-88-203, and
11 following; and,
12 WHEREAS,an Abstractor's Certificate and a Certificate from the Pulaski County Assessor have been
13 presented that show that a majority in value,as shown by the last county assessment, of the owners of real
14 property within the District have signed the petition;and,
15 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has presented this petition to the Mayor;and,
16 WHEREAS,a Notice was submitted with the petition naming August 4,2015,at 6:00 PM as the date
17 and time for a public hearing on the Petition; and,
18 WHEREAS, Ark. Code Ann. § 14-88-207, and following, requires that a hearing be held on the
19 formation of the district;and,
20 WHEREAS,the Mayor has set August 4,2015,at 6:00 PM as the date and the time for a hearing before
21 the Little Rock Board of Directors for consideration of the petition;
22 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
23 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
24 Section 1. The hearing on the petition to form the Center Street Multi-Purpose Improvement District
25 of Little Rock shall be held before the Little Rock Board of Directors in the Board Room of City Hall at
26 6:00 PM,or as soon as the matter is reached on the agenda,on August 4,2015.
27 Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to assure that notice is provided of such hearing in the manner
28 prescribed by law by certified mail to all owners of real property within the boundaries of the proposed
29 improvement district.
