3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 A CONTRACT TO WRIGHT WAY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.,
5 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED IS NINETY-SEVEN THOUSAND,
6 FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY-SEVEN AND 66/100 DOLLARS ($97,557.66),
7 FOR NORTHBROOK CIRCLE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS; AND
8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for drainage improvements to enclose an open ditch along
11 Northbrook Circle,Project No. 13-4-107,Bid No. 15-013;and,
12 WHEREAS, Wright Way Construction Company, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid
13 meeting specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Wright Way
17 Construction Company, Inc., for Northbrook Circle Drainage Improvements in an amount not to exceed
18 Ninety-Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Fifty-Seven and 66/100 Dollars ($97,557.66), which is the base
19 bid amount of Eighty-One Thousand, Two Hundred Ninety-Eight and 05/100 Dollars ($81,298.05), plus
20 20%contingencies.
21 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is from the 3/e-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and
22 Compensating Use Tax Funds as authorized by Resolution No. 13,699.
23 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
24 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
29 with the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
30 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
