3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO CONTRACTS WITH FOURTEEN (14) ORGANIZATIONS TO
5 PROVIDE SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAMS TO LITTLE ROCK
6 YOUTH AGES SIX (6) TO FIFTEEN (15); AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is committed to providing Prevention, Intervention, and Youth
10 Development Programs and services to enhance public safety and community-building, and
11 WHEREAS, the City advertised formal Bid (No. 15136) to solicit proposals for 2015 Summer
12 Recreation Programs for Little Rock youth ages six(6)to fifteen(15),and
13 WHEREAS, review committees met and reviewed the proposals submitted, and recommend the
14 organizations listed below for contract awards.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. Contracts for 2015 Summer Recreation Programs are hereby awarded to the following
18 organizations:

1 Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into contracts with the above-listed organizations
2 providing Summer Recreation Programs and services, upon approval of the form of the contract by the
3 City Attorney.
4 Section 3. Funds for these programs are drawn from the 2015 PIT Allocation, account number
5 S15A490.
6 Section 4. The term of the contracts shall be June 16,2015,to July 31, 2015.
7 Section 5. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
8 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
9 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this resolution,which shall remain in full force and
10 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
11 resolution.
12 Section 6. Repealer. All laws, ordinances and resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
13 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
