AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF A TRACT OF
LAND DESCRIBED AS :
Part of Pleasantree Fourth Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, all located in the E 1/2 of
the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 33, T-2-N R-13
-W, Pulaski County, Arkansas , containing 4.59 Acres
More or Less, and more particularly described
hereinafter.
WHICH LAND IS CONTIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT CITY LIMITS
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, upon the petition of more than fifty-eight
percent (58%) of the total number of real estate owners owning
acreage within the boundaries of the above described property
who own collectively more than fifty-five percent (55%) of
the said acreage, and after due notice of a hearing on said
petition, which notice was published for the time and in the
manner prescribed by law, the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas , did on October 10, 1978, enter its order annexing
the area more specifically described in Section 1 hereof to
the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have elapsed within which
any interested person could institute proceedings in the
Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas , to prevent said
annexation and there appeared no protestants to this annexa-
tion; and
WHEREAS , the area hereinafter particularly described
in Section 1 hereof is contiguous to and adjoins the existing
city limits of the City of Little Rock, and all proceedings
prerequisite to the annexation of said area have been conducted
as required by law; and
WHEREAS, it is now desirable that said area as hereinafter
specifically described in Section 1 be annexed to the City of
Little Rock;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. That the following described real property
in Pulaski County, Arkansas , to-wit:
A tract of land located in the E 1/2 SW 1/4 NW
1/4 Section 33 , T-2-N, R-13-W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas , more particularly described as follows :
Starting at theSoutheast corner of the SW 1/4
NW 1/4 said Section 33 , said corner being located
on the West line of Lot 446, Pleasantree First
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ;
thence N 0°41' 30" W along the East line of .said
SW 1/4 NW 1/4, 883.8 ft. to the point of beginning
of the tract of land described herein, said point
also being the Northeast corner of Pleasantree
Second Addition to the City of Little Rock; Arkansas;
thence S 81°16 '30" W along the North boundary of
said Pleasantree Second Addition 121.4 ft. to a
point on the North right-of-way line of Pickering
Drive; thence N 89°42 '50" W along said right-of-
way line . 97 .75 ft. ; thence S 0°17 ' 10" W, 50.0 ft.
to a point on the South right-of-way line of Pickering
Drive; thence Southeasterly along the arc of a 49.42
ft. radius curve to the right, having a chord bearing
and distance of S 45°12 ' 10" E, 69.28 ft. to a point
on the West right-of-way line of Pickering Drive;
thence S 0°41 ' 30" E along said West right-of-way
line 257 . 9 ft. to the Northeast corner of Lot 24
Pleasantree Third Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas ; thence S 89°18 '30" W along the
North line said Lot 24, 120.0 ft.. to the Northwest
corner said Lot 24; thence S 0041'30" E along the
West line of said Lot 24, 85 .0 ft. to the Southwest
corner said Lot 24, said point also lying on the
North line of Lot 23 , said Pleasantree Third Addi-
tion; thence S 89°18 ' 30" W along the. North line
said Lot 23 , 20.0 ft. to the Northwest corner
said Lot 23 , said point also being on the Northeast
corner Lot 17 , said Pleasantree Third Addition;
thence S 89035 '30" W along theNorth Line said

East lines of Lot 16, Tract 'A' , and Lot 15 said
Pleasantree Third Addition 243.98 ft. to the North-

said Lot 13 , said point lying on the West line
of the E 1/2 SW 1/4 NW 1/4 said Section 33; thence

be, and the same hereby is accepted as annexed to, and is hereby
madea part of the incorporated area of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force immediately on and after its passage.
