3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JUNE 2, 2015, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON APPROXIMATELY 570 LINEAR-
5 FEET OF THE ROCK CREEK WAY RIGHT-OF-WAY (G-23-456), IN
6 THE CITY OF LITTLE, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
9 abandon approximately 570 linear-feet of the undeveloped sixty(60)-foot wide Rock Creek Way right-of-
10 way, which runs north from West 36th Street, approximately 700 feet east of Bowman Road, pursuant to
11 its general Police Power Authority under Ark.Code Ann. §14-54-104;
12 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held
15 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
16 o'clock on June 2, 2015.
17 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
18 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
19 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
