3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH FLEMING ELECTRIC, INC., TO PROVIDE
5 ELECTRICAL REPAIRS ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. C15006,was issued to provide
9 electric repairs on an hourly basis as needed, and Fleming Electric, Inc., submitted quotations at Forty-
10 One and 50/100 Dollars ($41.50) per hour labor for a Master Electrician, Forty-One and 50/100 Dollars
11 ($41.50) per hour labor for a Journeyman Electrician, Forty Dollars ($40.00) per hour labor for an
12 Apprentice Electrician and;
13 WHEREAS, the initial term of the contract will be one (1)-year and may be extended for two (2)
14 additional one(1)-year periods, upon agreement of the parties;
15 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
18 Fleming Electric, Inc., to provide electric repairs on an hourly basis as needed, at the rate of Forty-One
19 and 50/100 Dollars ($41.50) per hour labor for a Master Electrician, Forty-One and 50/100 Dollars
20 ($41.50) per hour labor for a Journeyman Electrician, Forty Dollars' ($40.00) per hour labor for an
21 Apprentice Electrician, with the initial term of the contract being one (1)-year from date of award, which
22 may be extended for two(2) additional one(1)-year periods upon agreement of the parties.
23 Section 2. Funds are available from Building Services Operating Budget.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, orarts of the same, that at are inconsistent
30 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsiste,cy.
