3 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CONSTRUCTION
4 MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
5 TWO HUNDRED TWENTY ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HINDRED
6 THRITY EIGHT AND 10/100 DOLLARS ($221,738.140), FOR THE
7 SCOTT HAMILTON DRIVE AT 65TH STREET TRAFFIC SIGNAL
8 REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for improvements and replacement of the Traffic Signal on Scott
11 Hamilton Drive at 65th Street, Bid No. 15003.
12 AND, Construction Management & Maintenance Co., Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible
13 bid meeting specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Construction
17 Management & Maintenance Co., Inc., for the Scott Hamilton Drive at 65th Street Traffic Signal
18 Replacement Project(Interstate 30 to 65th Street)to replace the Traffic Signal at 65th Street in the amount
19 of Two Hundred Twenty-One Thousand, Seven Hundred Thirty-Eight and 10/100 Dollars ($221,738.10),
20 which is the base bad amount of One Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand, Seven Hundred Eighty-One and
21 75/100 Dollars($184,781.75)plus 20% contingencies.
22 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is from the 2013 Capital Improvement Bonds for Streets and
23 Drainage.
24 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
25 or word of this resolution is declared oradjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
30 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
31 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
