3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH LANDERS HARLEY-DAVIDSON IN THE
5 TOTAL AMOUNT OF EIGHTY THOUSAND, EIGHTY-TWO DOLLARS
6 ($80,082.00) FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOUR (4) POLICE PURSUIT
7 MOTORCYCLES FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department is in need of four(4)Police Pursuit Motorcycles; and,
11 WHEREAS,these motorcycles will replace older units with high maintenance expenses and excessive
12 down time currently being operated by the Little Rock Police Department; and,
13 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids under Bid #15123 for the purchase of the
14 motorcycles, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid meeting minimum specifications was received
15 from Landers Harley-Davidson in the amount of Eighty Thousand,Eighty-Two Dollars($80,082.00);
16 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract for the
19 purchase of four(4)Police Pursuit Motorcycles from Landers Harley-Davidson, for the amount of Eighty
20 Thousand,Eighty-Two Dollars ($80,082.00).
21 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in Fleet Services 2015 5/8-Cents Tax Account.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
