3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MCMAHAN COUNSELING, PLLC, TO
5 DELIVER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COURT ORDERED COUNSELING
6 SERVICES TO LITTLE ROCK CITIZENS; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is committed to providing Prevention, Intervention, and Youth
10 Development Programs and services to enhance public safety and community-building,and
11 WHEREAS, the City advertised a formal Bids (No.15110) to solicit proposals for Domestic
12 Violence Counseling services for Little Rock citizens, and
13 WHEREAS, it is in the City's interests to enter into a contract with McMahan Counselling, PLLC,
14 under such terms;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is.authorized to enter into a contract with McMahan Counseling,
18 PLLC, for an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), upon approval of the contract
19 by the City Attorney.
20 Section 2. Funds for these programs are from the 2015 PIT Allocation,account number Si 5A513.
21 Section 4. The term of the contracts shall be April 1,2015,to March 31,2016.
22 Section 5. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this resolution,which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 6. Repealer. All laws, ordinances and resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent
28 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
