21018 2015020387 Received: 4/9/2015 1:41:43 PM Recorded: 04/09/2015 01:46:13 PM Filed& Recorded in Official Records of Larry Crane, PULASKI COUNTY CIRCUIT/COUNTY CLERK Fees $25.00 1 ORDINANCE NO 21,018 2 3 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PORT HARBOR ANNEXATION (A- 4 325), ADDING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, 5 ARKANSAS; AND CLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY TO I-3, HEAVY 6 INDUSTRIAL, (Z-9009) AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP 7 FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER 8 PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, a petition for voluntary annexation (the "Petition") was filed with the County Clerk of 11 Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owner of hereinafter designated lands praying that said lands be 12 annexed to and made part of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas; and, 13 WHEREAS, on February 25, 2015, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas found that the 14 Petition was signed by a majority of the total number of the real property owners of the area to be 15 annexed and by the owners of more than one-half of the acreage of said area; and, 16 WHEREAS, said lands are contiguous to and adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of 17 Little Rock; and, 18 WHEREAS,an accurate map of said lands has been filed with and made a part of said Petition; and, 19 WHEREAS,proper notice has been given for the time and in the manner prescribed by law; and, 20 WHEREAS, all things pertaining thereto have been done in the manner prescribed by law and that 21 said lands should be annexed to and made part of the City of Little Rock. 22 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 23 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 24 SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock shall provide police and fire protection from the effective date 31 of the annexation. 32 SECTION 5. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, 33 or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 34 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and [Page 2 of 3] 1 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 2 ordinance. 3 SECTION 6. Repealer.
