3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 AN ENGINEERING INSPECTION CONTRACT TO MCCLELLAND
5 CONSULTING ENGINEERS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
6 THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($300,000.00), FOR THE 2015
7 STREET ASPHALT OVERLAY PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER
8 PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors adopted a list of streets for asphalt overlay by Resolution No.
11 13,699 as a part of the 2013 through 2015 Capital Improvement Bond program; and
12 WHEREAS, McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc., was selected through a Statement of
13 Qualifications process, Bid Number 14202, to provide Engineering Inspection Services for the 2015
14 Street Overlay Program
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with McClelland
18 Engineers for Engineering Inspection Services of 2015 Street Overlay Program.
19 Section 2. Funding for the project is available from the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital
20 Improvement Bonds approved by City of Little Rock residents in 2012. Amount authorized for services
21 not to exceed Three Hundred Thousand Dollars($300,000.00).
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
28 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
