9 WHEREAS, a request was made to abandon certain utility easement located at the existing Target
10 Store site located at 12700 Chenal Parkway, pursuant to the City's general Police Power Authority under
11 Ark. Code Ann. § 14-54-104; and,
12 WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the abandonment of the aforementioned easement will
13 not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners or the public welfare and safety;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the specific easements
17 described as:
18 1. All of the fifty (50)-foot-wide utility easements in Book 281, page 365, Book 241, page 389,
19 (Except#14), records of Pulaski County, Arkansas
20 2. All of the fifty (50)-foot-wide utility easements consisting of Instrument #83-58249 &
21 Instrument#98-066217, (Except#16)records of Pulaski County, Arkansas
22 3. All of the fifty (50)-foot-wide utility easements consisting of Instrument #83-58249 &
23 Instrument#96-13562 Plat No. E-551, (Except#12-13) records of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
24 4. All of twenty (20)-foot-wide Public Utility Easement consisting of Instrument #97-7219
25 (Except#22)records of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
26 All located within Lot 1, Greyrock Subdivision, an addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
27 County, Arkansas.
28 Section 2. All utilities and Public Works have approved the abandonment; the easement is located
29 entirely within the applicants' property.
30 Section 3. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the real estate
31 records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in Ex-Officio recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
32 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
33 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or

1 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
2 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part
3 of the ordinance.
4 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent
5 with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
