14054 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,054 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO AN ANNUAL PURCHASING CONTRACT WITH BUDGET 5 TRANSMISSION, INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF LIGHT DUTY 6 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION REPAIR FOR CITY OF LITTLE ROCK 7 FLEET UNITS FOR ONE (1)-YEAR, WITH AN OPTION TO RENEW 8 ANNUALLY FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL YEARS.; AND FOR OTHER 9 PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was issued for an annual purchasing contract to provide light duty 12 automatic transmission repair of City of Little Rock Fleet units; and, 13 WHEREAS, Budget Transmission, Inc., was the only qualified vendor submitting a bid; and, 14 WHEREAS, purchases under this annual purchase order are estimated to be Seventy Thousand 15 Dollars($70,000.00)annually; 16 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an annual 19 purchase contract with Budget Transmission, Inc., for the purchase of light duty automatic transmission 20 repair for all City of Little Rock Fleet Units, in an estimated amount of Seventy Thousand Dollars 21 ($70,000.00)annually. 22 Section 2. This Annual Purchase Order will be for one (1)-year, with an option to renew each year 23 for an additional two(2)years. 24 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Fuel Account#600013-63315. 25 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 5. Repealer.
