3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
4 BY DONATION DEED THE TITLE TO A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED
5 SOUTH OF CANTRELL ROAD AND EAST OF PINNACLE VALLEY
6 ROAD, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY,
7 ARKANSAS, NEEDED TO CONSTRUCT THE PINNACLE VALLEY
8 ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors authorized the Pinnacle Valley Road Improvement
11 Project in Resolution No. 13,699; and,
12 WHEREAS, the acquisition of property is necessary for the construction of the street project and to
13 assure adequate right-of-way for construction and to maintain the improvements.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to acquire through a donation and to 8C sgt
17 title to the following parcel of land: '01N 0
18 All that part of the West Half (W1/2) of East Half (E1/2) of Southwest Quarte '
19 (SW 1/4) of Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Eighteen (18), Township 2 Norft,,9 f `' s{:
20 Range 13 West, lying South of County Farm Road, except the south sixty-five �caUr,/� p'�,�*'+�
21 (65) feet thereof, as recorded in Book 1188, Page 637, Public Records of Pulaski
22 County, Arkansas.
23 Section 2. The acquisition is through a donation of the property. Cost for title work,
24 acquisition services, documents and right-of-way are included in the previously authorized
25 project amount.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

1 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
