3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS GROUP,
5 LLC, DBA MEHLBURGER BRAWLEY, IN THE AMOUNT FIVE
6 HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED TWENTY-
7 NINE AND 22/100 DOLLARS ($533,629.22) FOR THE GEYER SPRINGS
8 RAILROAD OVERPASS PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 13,699, set forth the list of street and drainage projects for the 2013,
11 2014 and 1015 Capital Improvement Program including the Geyer Springs Railroad Overpass,
12 AND, Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC, dba Mehlburger Brawley, was selected through a
13 statement of qualifications process to provide engineering services for the Geyer Springs Railroad
14 Overpass Project, Bid 13177.
15 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Infrastructure
18 Solutions Group, LLC, dba Mehlburger Brawley, to provide engineering design services for the
19 completion of design work for the Geyer Springs Railroad Overpass, Project No. B-02a, in an amount not
20 to exceed Five Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty-Nine and 22/100 Dollars
21 ($533,629.22), which is the base contract amount of Four Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand, One Hundred
22 Seventeen and 47/100 Dollars($485,117.47), plus a 10% contingency.
23 SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from the Transportation Improvement Project funds
24 administered by the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (80%) and the 2013 Capital
25 Improvement Bonds for Streets and Drainage (20%).
26 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
27 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
32 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
33 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
