3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS, INC., FOR
5 THE PURCHASE OF ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER
6 (OEM) HEIL REFUSE TRUCK REPAIR PARTS AND SERVICE FOR
7 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FLEET UNITS; AND FOR OTHER
8 PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock advertised for bids to establish an APO for the purchase of
11 original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Heil Refuse Truck Repair parts and service for City of Little
12 Rock fleet units; and,
13 WHEREAS, Fleet Services Staff developed specifications for the formal bidding process and River
14 City Hydraulics, Inc., was the only vendor submitting a bid meeting specifications;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract for the
18 purchase of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Heil Refuse Truck repair parts and service for City
19 of Little Rock fleet units, in an estimated amount of Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars
20 ($215,000.00).
21 Section 2. The contract is authorized for a period of one (1)-year, with an option to renew yearly for
22 an additional two(2)years, upon agreement of the parties.
23 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Parts account#600013-60310.
24 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
30 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
