13960 1 RESOLUTION NO. 13,960 2 3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE TO THE 4 AUTHORIZED CONTRACT AMOUNT FOR O.R. COLAN AND 5 ASSOCIATES FOR APPRAISAL AND ACQUISITION SERVICES FOR 6 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, O.R. Colan and Associates was selected for services under a request for qualifications 9 procedure, Bid No. 13115, and was awarded a contract for services to appraise and acquire right-of-way, 10 and 11 WHERAS, it is desirable to increase the contract ceiling prices to provide for additional services 12 including the 2013 through 2015 Street and Drainage Improvement Program. 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to approve an amendment to provide additional 16 services for appraisals and easement acquisition and to increase the contract ceiling price from the 17 previously-authorized Forty-Nine Thousand, Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars ($49,999.00) to a new 18 contract total of One Hundred One Thousand, Two Hundred Dollars($101,200.00). 19 Section 2. The cost for the contract will be funded from the existing project allocations for the 2013 20 Capital Improvement Bonds for Streets and Drainage and the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and 21 Compensating Use Tax for constructing Street and Drainage Improvement Projects as authorized by 22 Resolution No. 13,699. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 27 resolution. 28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent 29 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. 30 Section 5.
