3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH GOLD MEDAL FLOORING, FOR THE
5 PURCHASE OF SPECIALIZED RAISED FLOORING FOR THE
6 COMMUNICATIONS CENTER, IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY-SIX
7 THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE AND 73/100 DOLLARS
8 ($56,629.73); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department has requested approval to purchase flooring for the
11 Communication Center; and,
12 WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent issued Bid #14125R for specialized raised flooring for the
13 Communication Center for the second time, and Gold Medal Flooring was the only vendor to submit a
14 bid in response for the work required, in the amount of Fifty-Six Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty-Nine
15 and 73/100 Dollars($56,629.73), including taxes and installation;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Gold Medal Flooring for the
19 purchase and installation of specialized raised flooring for the Little Rock Police Department
20 Communication Center, in the amount of Fifty-Six Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty-Nine and 73/100,
21 including taxes and installation($56,629.73).
22 Section 2. Funding will be provided from the 3/8-Cent 911/311 Capital Projects Account.
23 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
29 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
