3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP IN
5 THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED WIGHTEEN, FIVE HUNDRED
6 EIGHTY-SEVEN AND 25/100 DOLLARS ($118,587.25), TO PAVE THE
7 FLEET SERVICES FACILITY PARKING AREA; AND FOR OTHER
8 PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the surrounding drive-thru area and parking lot of the Fleet Services facility has
11 deteriorated to a point where it is in drastic need of re-paving; and,
12 WHEREAS, Bid #14130 was issued and Redstone Construction Group submitted the most
13 responsive and responsible bid in the amount of One Hundred Eighteen Thousand, Five Hundred Eighty-
14 Seven and 25/100 Dollars ($118,587.25)to pave the surrounding drive-through area and parking lot at the
15 facility;
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
19 Redstone Construction Group to enter into a contract to pave the surrounding drive-through area and
20 parking lot at the Fleet Services facility.
21 Section 2: Funding for this service is allocated in the Fleet Services Land Improvements account.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
28 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
