13908 1 RESOLUTION NO. 13,908 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXTEND 4 CONTRACTS WITH THREE (3) ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE RE- 5 ENTRY SERVICES TO LITTLE ROCK RESIDENTS; AND FOR OTHER 6 PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is committed to providing Prevention, Intervention, and Youth 9 Development Programs and services to enhance public safety and community-building, and 10 WHEREAS, the City has contracts with service providers that may be extended for one (1) 11 additional contract term upon appropriation, satisfactory performance and mutual agreement of the 12 parties. 13 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 15 Section 1. Contracts for Reentry services are hereby awarded to the following organizations: 16 Organization Amount 17 Our House $67,119.00 18 Goodwill Industries of Arkansas(Assessment and 19 Employment Placement for the Disabled) $75,000.00 20 Goodwill Industries of Arkansas(Assessment and 21 Employment Placement $49,928.00 22 Quality Living(Pre-release-Male) $74,216.00 23 Quality Living(Pre-release-Female) $50,000.00 24 25 TOTAL $316,263.00 26 Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into contracts with these organizations to provide 27 re-entry services, upon approval of the contract by the City Attorney. 28 Section 3. Funds for these programs are from The 2014 PIT Allocation, account number S 15A390 29 Section 4. The term of each contract shall be for one(1)-year. 30 Section 5. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be 31 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this 32 resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or 33 unconstitutional were not originally a part of this resolution. 34 Section 6. Repealer.
