3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TODAY'S OFFICE, A STATE CONTRACT
5 VENDOR, FOR THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE FURNITURE FOR THE
6 FIRST FLOOR OF THE 12TH STREET STATION, IN THE TOTAL
7 AMOUNT OF SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED TWENTY-
8 THREE AND 86/100 DOLLARS ($65,923.86); AND FOR OTHER
9 PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the architectural firm of Roark, Perkins, Perry and Yelvington, has contacted Today's
12 Office, a State Contract Office Furniture Vendor, to supply a design diagram and cost projections for
13 specific pieces of furniture for the first floor of the new 12th Street Station; and,
14 WHEREAS, this design and cost projection was made in conjunction with the architects for this
15 project and members of the department who will occupy the station; and,
16 WHEREAS, Today's Office has submitted a proposal to provide a design diagram and cost
17 projections for specific pieces of furniture for the first floor of the new 12th Street Station, in the amount
18 of Sixty-Five Thousand, Nine Hundred Twenty-Three and 86/100 Dollars ($65,923.86), which includes
19 shipping, installation and taxes;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
23 Innerplan to supply a design diagram and cost projections for specific items of furniture for the first floor
24 of the new 12th Street Station, in the total amount of Sixty-Five Thousand, Nine Hundred Twenty-Three
25 and 86/100 Dollars($65,923.86), which includes shipping, installation and taxes.
26 Section 2. Funding for this project will come from the 2014 Justice Assistance Grant which was
27 specifically structured for this purchase.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
32 resolution.
33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent

1 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
