3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE LIST OF APPROVED PROJECTS
4 FOR WARD 4 AS SET FORTH IN RESOLUTION 13,699; AND FOR
5 OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 13,699, Sec.7 (a) was adopted by the Little Rock Board of Directors on
8 May 21, 2013, setting forth the projects to be construction throughout the City; and,
9 WHEREAS, it is desirable to amend that original project list for Ward 4 for projects funded with the
10 3/8-Cent City Sales and Compensating Use Tax Funds for Capital Improvements;
11 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
12 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. Resolution No. 13,699, Section 7 (a) (ii) is hereby amended to read as follows: (ii)
14 Pleasant Valley Drive Roundabout at Arkansas Valley Drive for preliminary design work completed prior
15 to April 9, 2014.
16 Section 2. Resolution No. 13,699, Section 7 (a) is hereby amended to add an additional subsection
17 and project to read as follows: (xiv) Rodney Parham Road from Hinson Road to Cantrell Road for
18 preliminary engineering studies to determine recommendations, costs and feasibility of improvement
19 options.
20 Section 3. The City Manager will the provide consideration and funding for the repair of existing
21 sidewalk and construction of new sidewalk in the vicinity of Terry Elementary School located at
22 Shackleford Road and Mara Lynn Road within the exiting provisions of Resolution No. 13,699, Section 7
23 (a)(iii) Miscellaneous Sidewalk throughout the Ward.
24 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
31 Section 6. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
