3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JUNE 17, 2014, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE TWENTY (20)-FOOT WIDE
5 NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK
6 4, CLARK'S ADDITION, BLOCK BOUNDED BY WEST 23RD, WEST
7 24TH, ARCH AND GAINES STREET (G-23-443), IN THE CITY OF
8 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
11 abandon the twenty (20)-foot wide north/south alley right-of-way located within Block 4, Clark's
12 Addition, block bounded by West 23', West 24th, Arch and Gaines Streets, pursuant to its general police
13 power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14-54-104;
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned easement shall be held at a
17 meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock
18 on June 17, 2014.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
20 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
21 County, Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
