3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH RISER FORD IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF
5 SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY DOLLARS
6 ($66,380.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) FORD F150 BI-FUEL
7 HALF-TON TRUCKS AT AN AMOUNT OF THIRTY-THREE
8 THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED NINETY DOLLARS ($33,190.00) EACH,
9 FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER
10 PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department needs to replace two (2) Half-Ton Trucks with high
13 maintenance expenses and excessive down time; and,
14 WHEREAS, pricing for the two (2) units was determined utilizing the Arkansas Purchasing
15 Contract;
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
19 Riser Ford for the purchase of two (2) Ford F150 Bi-Fuel Half-Ton Trucks in the total amount of Sixty-
20 Six Thousand, Three Hundred Eighty Dollars ($66,380.00), being Thirty-Three Thousand, One Hundred
21 Ninety Dollars($33,190.00)for each truck.
22 Section 2. These units operate on both gasoline and Compressed Natural Gas(CNG).
23 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 5/8-Cent Sales Tax.
24 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
30 with the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
