5819 RESOLUTION NO 5 ,819 A RESOLUTION APPROVING FOURTH YEAR PLANNING PROCESS FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock hereby accepts and approves the Fourth Year Planning Process for the Community Development Block Grant Program, all as set out on Exhibit "A" hereto which is hereby made a part of this Resolution as though set out herein word for word. SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. At the end of this period, each of the seven Planning Committees will submit to the City Administration (Department of Human Resources) a list of recommended projects in order of priority. December 3 - December 31,, 1977- The City Administration, after con- sidering the recommended projects will develop a final list of pro- jects and develop CDBG Application. *If funds become available. 4 , - EXPECTED 1978 CDBG FUNDING PAGE 3 January 5, 1978 - A Public Hearing on the final list by the City to obtain public corrm- ments January 6 - January 10, 1978 - City will consider public comments for possible changes in the final list of projects. January 11, 1978 - Final list of CDBG Projects is gi- ven to the City Board of Directors. January 24, 1978 - TENATIVE - The Board will hold a Public Hear- ing. February 21, 1978 - TENATIVE - The Board will be asked to vote on the 1978-79 CDBG Projects March 1, 1978 - The CDBG Application will be sub- mitted to Metroplan and State for A-95 Review. March 1, 1978 - The Environmental Assessment of projects will get underway. April 15, 1978 - Application is submitted to HUD for approval. July 1, 1978 - 1978-79 CDBG PROGRAM IS FUNDED.
