A RESOLUTION EXERCISING A CERTAIN OPTION
EXECUTED BY DONALD E . GOODWIN AND ANNA
MARIE GOODWIN, AND DON G. CARTER AND
KATHERINE A. CARTER FOR THE PURCHASE OF
PROPERTY; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
PREPARE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Real Estate Option executed by Donald E.
Goodwin and Anna Marie Goodwin and Don G. Carter and Katherine A.
Carter on the2lst day of September, 1976 is hereby accepted, sub-
ject to approval of title by the City Attorney ' s Office, to the
following described properties :
Part of the NW4, SW4, Sec. 9 , T-1-N, R-12-W,
Little Rock, Pulaski County , Arkansas , being
more particularly described as follows :
Commence at the NE Corner of the NW4, SW4, Sec. 9 ,
T-1-N, R-12-W, thence S01° 48 ' 30 " W a distance
of 141 . 78 ' ; thence N 89° 04 ' 20" W a distance of
15 ' to a point; thence continuing N 89° 04 ' 20" W
a distance of 100 ' to a point; thence N 01° 48 ' 30" E
a distance of 35.2 ' to the Point of Beginning, which
is located on the South R/W line of Wright Ave; thence
S65° 59 ' 25" W along said R/W line a distnace of
55. 37 ' to a point; thence S 016 48 ' 30" W a distance

SECTION 2 . As consideration for the purchase of the land
identified in Section 1 hereof, the Board of Directors hereby
approves conveyance of the following described lands to the said
Donald E . Goodwin and Anna Marie Goodwin and Don G. Carter and
Katherina A. Carter:

SECTION 3. The City Attorney' s office is hereby directed
to take whatever action is necessary in order to cause the two
parcels of property herein identified to be exchanged.
SECTION 4 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.

The City shall have the right to enter upon and take possession of the said

premises for the purpose of inspection or survey or any slight or inadvertent entry
without material damage or injury to the realty, or without the exercise of
dominion thereover to the exclusion of the undersigned, shall not be construed as
Ia final election to close this option. No statements, expressions of option,
representations or agreements of any nature whatsoever, not herein expressly stated,
made by any representative or agent of the City shall be binding on, or of any
effect against the said City.
All claims for damage, injury, or less on account of failure to close this
