A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE WITH THE
ARKANSAS REVENUE DEPARTMENT BUILDING
COMMISSION FOR CERTAIN LANDS IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO BE USED AS A
PART OF THE CITY'S MATERIAL YARD; PRO-
VIDING CONSIDERATION FOR SAID LEASE;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City an amendment
to a lease dated December 29, 1967, between the City of Little Rock,
as Lessee, and the Arkansas Revenue Building Commission, as Lessor,
to provide additional real property for use by the City as its
material yard for a period of twelve (12) months from December 21,
1967. The rental for said lease and amendment shall be increased
to the sum of Fourteen and 58/100 Dollars ($14.58) per month be-
ginning February 10, 1968, which sum is payable monthly in advance.
Said amendment to lease shall be in form and substance as follows :
AMENDMENT TO LEASE
This instrument made and entered into for the purpose
of amending a Lease entered into by and between the ARKANSAS
REVENUE DEPARTMENT BUILDING COMMISSION, hereinafter called LESSOR,
and the City of LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, hereinafter called LESSEE,
which Lease was executed on December 29, 1967.That Lease concerned
lands used by Lessee as a Material Yard.
1. The description of property contained in the Lease
shall hereafter include the following described real property
located in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to wit:

2. The rental shall be increased by the sum of $14.58
per month beginning on February 10, 1968, being payable monthly
in advance.
3. This Amendment shall be effective on February 10,1968.
4. All other terms and conditions of the original Lease
shall remain unchanged. 2

PARCEL #1. Beginning at a point in the most easterly line of Lot
Six (6) , Block Twenty-five (25) , Capitol Hill Addition; said point
being eight and five tenths (8. 5) feet southerly from, measured at
right angles , to the center line of the spur track, known as the
Nowlin Lumber track; thence southerly in the east line of Lot Six
(6) , one hundred three (103) feet, more or less, to the south east
corner of said lot; thence westerly in the south line of Lots Six
(6) and Five (5) , eighty eight feet, more or less , to a point in
the east line of Park Street; thence northerly in the east line of
Park Street sixty-two (62) feet, more or less, to a point eight and
five tenths (8. 5) feet southerly, measured at right angles, from the

Twenty-six (26) , Capitol Hill Addition; thence westerly in the south
line of Lot Nine (9) , one hundred eighteen (118) feet, more or less,
