3394 RESOLUTION NU. 3,394 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF KIRK PLASTERING COMPANY FOR CERTAIN WORK ON BEAR MOATS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK ZOO; AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT AND PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, invitation to bid was advertised according to law and bids received pursuant thereto for certain con- struction described as the construction of Bear Moats in the City of Little Rock Zoo according to the plans and specifications prepared by the architects employed by the City of Little Rock; and, WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid submitted was that of Kirk Plastering Company in the no/100 sum of Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred and Dollars ($18.800.00); and, WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock to award a contract to Kirk Plastering Company for the performance of the work in accordance with the plans and specifications and to authorize payment for the said work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The bid of Kirk Plastering Company no/100 in the sum of Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred and Dollars ($18,800.00 ) for construction of Bear Moats in the City of Little Rock Zoo, in accordance with the plans and speci- fications made a part of the bidding documents prepared by architects employed by the City of Little Rock, is hereby accepted. - 2 - SECTIUE 2. Upon progress and completion of the work called for in the plans and specifications, the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to make payment according to the terms of the contract from time to time and upon final completion of the work, and are directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of the contract price.
