A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF DAMAGES
TO CLYDE HARRELL ARISING FROM A COLLISION
BETWEEN HIS AUTOMOBILE AND A CITY-OWNED
VEHICLE IN THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED FORTY-SEVEN
AND 50/100 DOLLARS ($147.50) ; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of April, 1965, an automobile
owned by Clyde Harrell collided with a City-owned vehicle at
2700 South Summit Avenue in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and, as a result thereof, was damaged in the sum of One Hundred
Forty-Seven and 50/100 Dollars ($147.50); and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Little Rock to
award payment to Clyde Harrell for the damages to his automobile
upon receipt of Releases in favor of the City of Little Rock,
its agents and employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The claim of Clyde Harrell in the sum of One
Hundred Forty-Seven and 50/100 Dollars ($147.50) for damages
to his automobile resulting from a collision between it and a
City-owned vehicle is hereby acknowledged and accepted.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or
warrants in payment of the claim referred to in Section 1 hereof
upon receipt from Clyde Harrell of a Release in form as prepared
by the office of the City Attorney, running in favor of the City
of Little Rock, its agents and employees.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
