A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-FOUR
AND 72/100 DOLLARS ($164.72) TO JOHN H. WADE FOR PROPERTY
DAMAGE TO AN AUTOMOBILE, ARISING FROM COLLISION OF A
CITY-OWNED VEHICLE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, On March 21, 1964, the Sanitation Department Truck
driven by Charles Ledbetter, City Employee, collided with a 1950
Chevrolet Sedan, owned by John H. Wade, thereby causing damages
to the property of John H. Wade in the sum of One Hundred Sixty-
four and 72/100 Dollars ($164.72) ; and
WHEREAS, It is the desire of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock to reimburse John H. Wade for such damages to
his property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
1. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to pay to John H. Wade the sum of One
Hundred Sixty-four and 72/100 Dollars ($164.72) , representing the
actual amount of his damages as the result of a collision with a
City-owned vehicle on March 21, 1964, as full and final settlement
of any and all claims which the said John H. Wade may have against
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and any of its agents, servants,
or employees. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
directed to procure a Release from said John H. Wade, running in
favor of any and all parties who may have liability in the matter.
2. The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
