2859 . • RESOLUTION NO. 2,859 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED TO MARYTON PARK LAND COMPANY, INC. , CORRECTING A MISDESCRIPTION IN A RESERVATION CONTAINED IN A CERTAIN DEED EXECUTED ON MAY 31, 1929 , BY JOHN F . BOYLE AND SNOW YOWELL BOYLE, HIS WIFE, TO THE CITY Of LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES . WHEREAS, there has been a misdescription in a reservation con- tained in a certain Deed executed by John F. Boyle and Snow Yowell Boyle, his wife, to the City of Little Rock dated May 31, 1929 , which Deed is of record in Pulaski County Record Book 204 at Page 260; and WHEREAS, the now owner of said tract contained in the reservation clause is Maryton Park Land Company, Inc; and WHEREAS, said Maryton Park Land Company, Inc . , now desires to plat and subdivide said reserved tract and to do so must have the description corrected; and WHEREAS, the City desires to correct said misdescription; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 02 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereb authorized and directed to execute a Quitclaim Deed to Maryton Park Land Company, Inc. , Grantee, for the purpose of correcting a misdescription con- tained in a reservation clause set forth in a Deed from John F. Boyle and Snow Yowell Boyle, his wife, to the City of Little Rock dated May 31, 1929 , which Deed is of record in Pulaski County Record Book 204 at Page 260 . The Correction Quitclaim Deed shall be in form and words as follows : • CORRECTION QUITCLAIM DEED KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT the City of Little Rock by and through its Mayor and City Clerk, duly authorized by Resolution No. - of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock adopted the day of , 1962, for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1 .00) cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and other good and valuable consideration, and in order to correct a misdescription in a reservation con- tained in a certain Deed executed by John F. Boyle and Snow Yowell Boyle, his wife, to the City of Little Rock dated May 31, 1929 , which Deed is of record in Pulaski County, Arkansas Record Book 204 at Page 260, does hereby convey, alien and quitclaim unto Maryton Park Land Company, Inc . , its successors and assigns forever, the following lands lying in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to-wit : A portion of land containing 9 acres , more or less, lying in the SEA of the SW of Section 12, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, described as follows : Beginning at the South Quarter Corner of Section 12, Township 1 North, Range 13 West ; thence North 89 degrees 25 minutes West, along the South line of Section 12, 723 .5 feet; thence North 1 degree 50 minutes West, 204.9 feet; thence North 23 degrees 48 minutes West, 50 feet; thence North 12 degrees 5 minutes West, 50 feet; thence North 11 degrees 26 minutes East, 50 feet ; thence North 21 degrees 15 minutes East, 50 feet; thence North 31 degrees 02 minutes East, 50 feet; thence North 40 degrees 29 minutes East, 25 feet; thence North 47 degrees 44 minutes East, 50 feet ; thence North 51 degrees 47 minutes East, 50 feet; thence North 53 degrees 38 minutes East, 50 feet; thence North 58 degrees 56 minutes East, 50 feet; thence North 61 degrees 30 minutes East, 50 feet ; thence North 71 degrees 11 minutes East, 50 feet; thence South 72 degrees 35 minutes East, 50 feet; thence South 59 degrees 36 minutes East, 50 feet; thence South 37 degrees 07 minutes East, 112 .9 feet; thence South 90 degrees 0 minutes East, 278 .22 feet to 1 CORRECTION QUITCLAIM DEED - Page Two • the center line of .Section 12 ; thence South along the center line of Section 12, 485 .3 feet to the point of beginning, the above described areas containing 9 acres, more or less . TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto Maryton Park Land Company, Inc. , and unto its successors and assigns forever, together with all and singular, the tenements , appurtenances and hereditaments thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. IN WITNESS WHEREOF , the City of Little Nock, a municipal corporation , has caused tne6e presents to be signed by its Mayor, its Clerk, and its corporate seal to be herewith affixed, all in accordance with and pursuant to a Resolution of its Board of Directors, duly and regularly adopted, a copy of which is hereto attached and made a part hereof, this day of 1962.
