AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PAY' ]MENT OF AN
ATTORNEYS FEE TO JOHN A. SHERRILL FOR SERVICES
PERFORMED AS ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY IN THE PURCHASE
OF THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OF THE ARKANSAW WATER
COMPANY LYING SOUTH OF THE ARKANSAS RIVER.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and the City Treasurer
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to pay at
once to John A. Sherrill as an attorneys fee for services
performed in the acquisition of the distributing system of
the Arkansaw Water Company lying South of the Arkansas River
the sum of $37,500.00 from the Water Purchase fund of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
